Fireworks & Eclipse

I woke up this morning feeling a bit grumpy. I couldn't come up with a good reason as to why I was grumpy but just was. Unfortunatly it was July 4th and everyone else seemed to be in a pretty upbeat mood. Don't you hate that. I spend my morning in my room watching Bravo's lame reality shows while my mom was in the living trying to beat our scores in bejeweled, while Dan and Dad tried to beat eachothers scores on Wii golf. The whole family was meeting up tonight for the firworks at the park, however Dan and I opted out. Instead we went to see Eclipse. Then out to dinner and driving around. I hate to be such a humbug but can't see to help it today. Not the 4th weekend I was hoping for but atleast I am not sitting at my desk until Tuesday.
I hope everyone else had a very enjoyable weekend and was safe.
Hugs until next post.

Happy 2yrs Hunny!

On July 1st, 2008 I married my sweetie. We just celebrated our two year anniversary being married, however we have been together for 10yrs. God is good and one way I know that is by him giving me the best husband in the world. Dan is the sweetest, caring, unselfish, funny man I know. I can honestly say that Dan treats me like a princess. He loves me and I have no doubts about that.
Dan made reservations at the best steak house in town, Ruth's Chris. The steak was out of this world amazing. Dan was so sweet to take the time to plan a special night for us. I love you sweetheart. Always and forever!

Catching you up to speed....

I have decided that if I am going to be blogging more often that I should let people into my life. This past year has been a whirl wind of changes. Back in November my parents decided to move from Northern Michigan to Bentonville, Arkansas to be close to their three daughters where we all live. My parents are retired and were having a rough time living in northern michigan, so to all of our delights they moved down here. I am the middle child. Christy is oldest-10 yrs older than I and Ashley youngest-4 yrs young than me. I offered my house to our parents to live until they figured out a plan on what they are going to do in Arkansas. My parents moved out in December to an apartment. They hated the apartment. They didn't like the fact that the apartment was so small and their were people everywhere. To my shock, in May, my parents informed us that they had planned to move back to Northern Michigan within the next couple months. Needless to say, I was upset and dissapointed. My parents thought their plans were sealed until the week before and they find out that their plans fell through. My parents no longer had a place to stay. So I offered our house to them again. Long story short, they asked to stay with us for atleast 6 months. This is going into month 2 and things are starting to get interesting. Going from my husband and I to two more people brings obsticales and intersting stories. In a way I feel that the roles have been reversed I am now the parent. Strange how that works.

Las Vegas June 2010

Haven't been on for awhile but my new goal is to write a blog each day. So, Dan and I went to Las Vegas for a little vacation. We went for 4 days. For some reason my husband and I thought that we would love it there. We always hear of all the fun people have going to Vegas, lol, but it turned out to be the wrong place for us. We arrived on a Wednesday and got to our hotel. The hotel was so pretty. What a nice hotel! After we checked in we went down to the casino and lost a couple $100. lol So my husband and I decided that gambling was just not for us. We are not party people nor do we drink that often, or smoke. Well, those are the three major attractions in Vegas. Between the drunks, barely there girls dressed like hoochies, smoke, drinking we decided not to go back there for a very long time. It sounds horrible that I found all the negative in Vegas but it really just wasn't the place for us. Knowing what we know....righ? Isn't that always the case. lol Attached are a couple pictures I took. Hope you enjoy them.

Is it Sunday night already?

Another weekend has come and gone in a blink of an eye. What a busy couple of weeks. Long story short. My parents moved down to NWA in October. Stayed with Dan and I until December. Moved into an apt. until Mother's day in which we all helped them move. They were going to live with us until they moved back to Michigan. Through lots of ups and downs with their plans of moving back (which fell through), they are back living with Dan and I indefinitly. Yikes! lol Mean while Dan and I are trying to figure out a good place for him and I to escape on vacation. I'd like to go visit Grand Cayman again, however that is expensive. Maybe I should just go visit a travel agent to have them decide where I should be going. With the on going story of my crazy life I will write some more when I have some alone time. Take care. :)

I feel old...

Today I spent several hours helping my neice and her best friend getting ready for prom. Orginally I was coming over to the house to do my neice's hair, however when I arrived I was asked if I could also do her friends hair. Ofcourse I was willing to do her bff's hair because the poor girl was looking right at me. What else could I say? lol After curling Sheliah's hair I was able to help curl Hannah's hair. After 3hrs both girls hair looked beautiful. As I was doing their hair I was listening to both girls talking about school, boys, dances and future plans. I have to say I was feeling a bit old. I remember those days when high school was my life. I was looking forward to the future and couldn't believe that time has passed by so fast. I am now 27yrs old and hopefully planning to have a family soon. How crazy is that? When I was younger I never believed that time flew by so fast. Now looking back I am amazed at how fast time fly's. It was sweet when my neice said Aunt Autumn you are not THAT old. lol Life is a journey that we take before going to heaven. Enjoy every minute of it and try to hold on to every memory.
